About Me

Tristan Overmann

I was born and raised in St. Louis, MO. When I was 17, I joined the Army and started my big adventure. In the Army is where I got my first taste of photography. I was a Military Police Traffic Collision Investigator.  I was taught the camera basics for crime scene photos. I continued on in civilian and government law enforcement for roughly a decade learning the transition from 35mm film to the digital age. And of course, a lot more crime scene photos. I eventually left law enforcement to pursue other career goals but deciding to keep photography as a hobby. Over time the hobby turned into a passion. I started to take courses in photography and invest in better gear. After years of everyone saying how much they love my photos I have decided to turn my hobby into a professional passion.

Tristan has been recognized globally for his photographs by "The People's Artist".
